UNGKAPKAN RASAMU: PEMBERIAN MUSIK PERKUSI DALAM MENINGKATKAN EKSPRESI EMOSI ANAK AUTIS
Abstract
Anak autis mengalami kesulitan berkomunikasi non verbal. Hal itu membuat mereka sulit berinteraksi secara sosial dengan orang lain. Percussion music therapy bertujuan untuk membantu anak-anak yang memiliki sindrom autisme untuk mengungkapkan emosi, baik emosi positif maupun negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan kasus tunggal, dengan 5 sesi pada tahap awal (sebelum pemberian pengobatan) dan 7 sesi pada tahap intervensi. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua anak autis. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan skala penilaian data. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa, terapi musik perkusi bisa meningkatkan ekspresi emosi pada anak autis.
