PENGALAMAN CALEG MUDA YANG GAGAL MENJADI ANGGOTA LEGISLATIF PADA PEMILU 2014
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengalaman dari calon anggota legislatif (caleg) muda yang gagal menjadi anggota legislatif pada Pemilihan Umum (pemilu) 2014. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Eksplorasi pengalaman dilakukan dengan cara wawancara semi terstruktur kepada dua orang yang pernah menjadi calon anggota legislatif dan dinyatakan gagal dalam pemilu. Data dianalisis dengan deskripsi fenomena individu. Hasil dari penelitian terdapat tiga periode dalam pengalaman menjadi caleg, yaitu episode sebelum pemilu, pengalaman saat pemilu, dan setelah gagal pemilu. Tema dalam episode sebelum pencalonan yaitu faktor yang mempengaruhi pencalonan, dengan sub tema motivasi, latar belakang keluarga dan latar belakang pengalaman; dan persepsi terhadap lembaga legislatif. Pengalaman pemilu dengan tema kampanye, dukungan, dan sumber dana. Setelah gagal pemilu dengan tema respon terhadap kegagalan, dan rencana masa depan.
