Peran Nature Connected Terhadap Perilaku Pro Lingkungan
Abstract
Abstrac. This study aims to determine the effect of nature connected on pro-environmental behavior with a sample of employees. With the rapid development of population, the carrying capacity of nature to sustain human life is felt to have an effect, especially in big cities. Clean water that is difficult to obtain, air pollution that causes drastic changes in weather, weather anomalies and so on. As a result of forest destruction, the impact on humans is starting to be felt, in almost all parts of the world. Connectedness with nature is an important foundation of one's environmental attitudes, and is latent and relatively stable over time and situations. The sample of this research is 39 people who work as permanent/non-permanent employees at various agencies/companies. The results of this study indicate that there is no effect of nature connected on pro-environmental behavior. Based on the results of the linear regression analysis test, the value of the regression coefficient is negative (-0.75). Thus it can be said that Nature Connected behavior (X) has a negative effect on Pro-Environmental Behavior (Y) with the regression equation Y = 82.519 + (-0.75) X. With a significance value (sig.) of 0.684 ≥ p = 0, 05. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis which says "there is an effect of nature connected behavior on pro- environmental behavior" is rejected.
